Clients may pay for their services privately (also referred to as the “self-pay” option). Private pay offers the greatest level of confidentiality and flexibility in the therapy process. Please call or email the office directly to inquire about our private pay rates.
Bypassing insurance allows for more control and privacy over your care. Insurance companies may require information about your qualifying symptoms and specific work in counseling, which limits your confidentiality. Without having to provide your insurance company a mental health diagnosis, there will be no diagnosis on your permanent medical record, and no one will be privy to your therapy unless you tell them.
Should you decide that using insurance is best for you, these are the options we have available:
Rosewood Psychotherapy + Wellness is pleased to accept most plans offered by Anthem Blue Cross / Blue Shield (BCBS), Humana, and Aetna insurance. As a complimentary service, we will verify your insurance coverage and confirm your session fee (if applicable) prior to your initial appointment.
If we do not accept your insurance plan, you may be entitled to full or partial reimbursement through “out-of-network” benefits from your health insurance carrier or employee benefit plan. If you choose to submit claims to your insurance provider, you will be responsible for the session fee at the time of service. Upon your request, you will be provided the documentation needed to submit your claim to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. Please review your coverage carefully and consult with your insurance provider about the details of your benefits.
EAP is a program that offers a set number of counseling sessions to employees and their household members at no cost to the employee. We provide professional counseling services that cover problems or conflicts employees encounter including everyday life stressors, relationships, stress, and work-related issues. EAP is not for those seeking long-term counseling. Clients are responsible for paying the standard therapy rate after the authorized number of EAP sessions are completed. Please contact your employer to learn more about your EAP eligibility and benefits.
